Renowned singer Bhupinder Singh died on Monday at 7:45 p.m. in Criticare hospital, located in Mumbai‘s Andheri neighborhood.
“He was suffering from several health complications, including urinary issues since some time,” his wife and singer Mitali Mukherjee told IANS.

Dr Deepak Namjoshi, director of Criticare Asia hospital where Singh was admitted, said, “Bhupinderji was admitted ten days back to our hospital. He had an infection. We had strong suspicion that he had Colon ailment and we were doing investigations. In the same time, he got COVID-19. His condition worsened on Monday morning and we had to put him on a ventilator. He got a cardiac arrest and passed away at 7:45 pm.’’
Singh is renowned for the catchy tunes in movies like “Mausam,” “Satte Pe Satta,” “Ahista Ahista,” “Dooriyan,” “Haqeeqat,” and many others.
