All Elite Wrestling star Eddie Kingston was handed a suspension a few weeks ago following a verbal altercation with another wrestler, Sammy Guevara, reports have suggested. As per The Wrestling Observer, Eddie was handed a suspension in secret by the All Elite Wrestling president Tony Khan, which he has now served in full.
The verbal altercation between the two took place backstage when Sammy Guevara commented on the physical appearance of Eddie Kingston, which resulted in the latter taking a swing at the former. Fightful Select later published a report on the incident that said, “We’ve not confirmed that with anyone that witnessed it, and reached out to both parties.”

More information on the incident has also come to light that suggests Kingston’s brief absence from the All Elite Wrestling resulted in a part of the buildup to his All Out match against Guevara has been cancelled. It is yet to be announced if the cancelled match will be organised in the future during next week’s All Out go-home shows.
The duo has been going at each other on AEW TV after Guevara helped Chris Jericho to defeat Kingston in a Barbed Wire Everywhere Match in July. In the August 3 edition of the AEW Dynamite, Eddie disrupted a video package of Guevara and Tay Melo, challenging Guevara to an All Out match.

However, when Guevara accepted the match on August 10 in an AEW Rampage video, Eddie made a video appearance and announced he was leaving on a vacation. Following this, Ruby Soho and Ortiz challenged Guevara and Tay in a different match.
Guevara’s acceptance of Eddie’s challenge did not air on August 12 and nothing has been said regarding a potential match between the two in the future. Reports have suggested that this was because Eddie was serving the suspension that was handed to him by the AEW president.
