Manchester City is yet to open their account this season. On Saturday, the defending champions will look to score their first points of the 2021 Premier League in a home match against Norwich City. City opened its title defence with a 1-0 loss at Tottenham. The day will also see Liverpool aim for their second straight win when they go up against Burnley.

In City’s loss against Tottenham, the need for a quality striker was extremely evident. Before the season started, the team let go of long-time striker Sergio Aguero. Since then, they have been unable to sign a quality forward.
Manager Pep Guardiola will hope to put the fans’ doubts at bay with a win against Norwich. Record signing Jack Grealish showed flashes of brilliance, but could not make an impact against Tottenham. City would hope for a better performance from Grealish, who was brought on board for $139 million.

Kevin De Bruyne and Phil Foden are listed as injuries and may not make it to the starting lineup. Having de Bruyne back in the squad would be a huge relief for Guardiola. But in his absence, Grealish will be expected to step up.
