5G services were launched in India
by PM Narendra Modi at the India Mobile Congress (IMC) in Delhi on Friday,
October 1. The services will first be distributed partially in the metro cities
of Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Chennai. It will be extended
all across India by December 2023.
The 5G mobile phones will reportedly
offer several new features along with the 5G support, making them ready for next-generation connectivity. It will provide users with low latency, increased
speed and bandwidth, reduced power consumption and data security.

There are a handful of phones that
will be available with 5G services. Brands like Xiaomi, Realme, Vivo, Oppo, and
Samsung are competing to provide the best 5G phones to users in India.
