Conor McGregor has been accused of raping a woman at NBA Finals Game 4 on June 9 at the Kaseya Center in Florida, the same game where he reportedly punched a Miami Heat mascot.

Regarding the alleged incident that the UFC star has already denied being a part of, demand letters by attorney Ariel Mitchell were sent to McGregor, the NBA, and the Miami Heat this week. The alleged incident happened after the Nuggets had won, 108-95. The alleged victim has not been named.

During the game, McGregor sat in courtside seats, and as part of a halftime skit he punched a Miami Heat mascot multiple times while promoting his Tidl Sport recovery spray.

According to TMZ Sports, the incident allegedly took place during the evening when he “violently” sexually assaulted a woman inside a men’s bathroom.

According to Mitchell’s letters, security from the NBA and the Miami Heat assisted in separating the woman from her buddy before forcing her into a bathroom where McGregor and his security officer were already present.

According to Mitchell’s statements in the letters, “security refused to let [the woman] exit or allow anyone else, including her friend, inside the bathroom.” The defense attorney then alleges that McGregor exited a handicapped restroom “and shoved his tongue in the victim’s mouth and aggressively kissed her.”

The letters claim that after informing McGregor she had to urinate, the woman was managed to move him off of her. However, McGregor allegedly compelled her to have oral sex with him after that.

The woman was then allegedly grabbed by McGregor, 34, who then tried to sodomise her while holding her against the wall.

According to Mitchell, the woman was able to repeatedly elbow McGregor, which provided her a chance to flee. She apparently left her pocketbook behind as she escaped, which Mitchell claims McGregor’s security officers “held hostage” until she begged them to give it back.

The letters claim that after eventually fleeing everything, the victim reported the assault to the police on Sunday morning. The woman was then encouraged to contact a lawyer, according to Mitchell.

Mitchell stated in the letters, which were issued after the woman’s encounter with the police, that the woman is looking to avoid going to court by reaching settlements with the NBA, the Heat, and McGregor.

However, representatives for McGregor stated in a statement early on Thursday that the “allegations are false.”
