Garcia paused the game after he intruded on the pitch in the 10th minute of the game and was seen throwing himself to the floor and rolling over it before he was ushered out of the field by the stewards.

“The man made it onto the stadium at 7 am after getting through the security perimeter located between the stadium and the stadium and the Palacio de Deporters building, where it is clear he spent the next 14 hours hidden under the canvas order to not be seen until he decided to make his move”, said police.

The game ended with a scoreline of 2-0 in Manchester United’s favour, after Marcus Rashford and Bruno Fernandes got into the scoresheet. Granada might have left themselves a mountain to climb in the reverse fixture at Old Trafford. But the unexpected appearance of Garcia certainly made an impact.

This was not the first time, the public took notice of Garcia wandering around naked. He is popular in the Andalusian city, and known for roaming around wearing nothing but a birthday suit, learned The Times of India. His popularity would have only grown in strength after incredibly entered the gates of Los Carmenes Stadium, in spite of all the security and COVID-19 protocols that are followed in football stadiums today.
