The winter
solstice is here and so is Christmas. Even though this year wasn’t all about
celebrations, can we let Christmas pass just like the winter breeze? With all
that is happening around the world, most countries have implemented restrictions
on celebrating the birthday of the ‘Son of God.’

With
countries imposing travel restrictions and norms on social gathering, this year’s
Christmas is definitely going to be much different than the previous ones. This
year’s celebrations are mostly to be inside your four walls and in some cases,
far away from your friends and family.

While the pandemic
is trying to steal away the merriness of this year’s Christmas, various carol
groups are gearing up to make us feel like nothing can stop us from celebrating
the Yule.

Although, the carolers
will miss performing in front of large and live audience, it looks like they don’t
mind it at all. The ballad groups from around the world are taking their music
online to captivate and amuse their listeners during this festive season.

These
are some of the concerts to tune into this Christmas –

Canterbury Cathedral

One of the most famous Christian
structures in England, the Canterbury Cathedral will be
bringing some online carol services for Christmas, which will be available on
their website.

Salisbury Cathedral

Keeping the restrictions in mind, the Salisbury Cathedral has
also moved all of its services online. You can watch the services, including
their carol concert, by heading to their website on Christmas day.

Harvard Memorial Church

On
Christmas Eve, the Memorial Church and the Harvard University Choir will present
the annual Christmas service online. Students from around the world will sing
seasonal carols in a video performance, which can be viewed on their website.
