In the statement, the city of Chesapeake said, “The City of Chesapeake has always been known as the “City That Cares” and now, more than ever, we know our City will show up and care for those who need it most. Please join us in praying for the family and friends of these community members who we have lost”.

According to the updates regarding the case that are being provided by the city’s official website, the suspect’s next of kin will be notified for identification, and only after that will the police release additional details about him in an official capacity.

An employee of the store, who had earlier come out with a video where Bing was seen enjoying himself along with other members of the staff, had been posting about the names of the victims from her Facebook profile. However, the city of Chesapeake had wanted to inform the victims’ next of kin first before releasing their names to the public.
