The annual event NBA draft took place on Wednesday, an event where the teams pick select players who are eligible and wish to join the National Basketball Association (NBA). Under the 2021 format of the draft, the three worst teams, which are Houston Rockets, Detroit Pistons and Orlando Magic, each had a 14% chance of winning the lottery.

Pistons although had a below-par season in 2020-21, they sealed the first overall pick.

Some of the top prospects in the 2021 NBA draft were Cade Cunningham, Evan Mobley, Jalen Green, Jalen Suggs, Davion Mitchell, Jonathan Kuminga, and many others. Here is how the fans reacted to the 2021 NBA draft:

Golden State Warriors were at the bottom of the table in the draft lottery odds for the number one pick with a 0.5% chance. Other teams Indiana Pacers had 1.0%, San Antonio Spurs had 1.7%, Charlotte Hornets 1.8%, New Orleans Pelicans, Chicago Bulls and Sacramento Kings had 4.5%, Toronto Raptors had a 7.5% chance for the number one pick. Oklahoma City Thunder and Cleveland Cavaliers had an 11.5% chance for the number one pick in the draft.

The Pistons sealing the number 1 pick is expected to boost the team’s performance. Houston Rockets in the season had to let go of their talisman James Harden. Only these 14 teams that did not make the 2021 post-season were eligible for the 2021 draft.
