In Kendall County, a swift and coordinated response by law enforcement has ensured the safety of Boerne and Champion high schools after a reported threat. Initial sweeps conducted at both schools have confirmed that there was no shooting incident on any campus.
Champion High School remains in lockdown as a precaution, while nearby Cibolo Elementary is on lockout due to its close proximity to Champion High. All other schools in the district have resumed normal activities.
The threat is being thoroughly investigated by the Boerne Police in collaboration with other law enforcement partners. Parents and guardians are being urged to avoid congregating around the campuses to allow the authorities to efficiently manage the situation and ensure the safety of all students and staff.
