Officials on Friday cancelled an Amber Alert after a 2-year-old whom authorities believed was likely abducted was “located and safe,” and a suspect was sent to custody.
Earlier, an Amber Alert was issued for a missing 2-year-old toddler, who is believed to be abducted.
Authorities were contacted on Thursday morning after Robert William Ramirez went missing near the city of Westport, Minnesota.
“Pope Co Sheriff’s Office was contacted early this morning about missing child near Westport. Investigators developed information throughout the day that now leads them to believe Robert Ramirez was likely abducted,” the Minnesota BCA said.

The toddler has been described as 3′ tall, 28 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair, who was last seen wearing a red t-shirt and black sweatpants with green stripes.
There was no known abductor or vehicle information. His last known location was Westport, Minnesota, near Alexandria and Sauk Centre.
