US President Donald Trump on Friday said that he was not a fan of actor Sacha Baron Cohen, whose new movie ‘Borat’ depicts Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani in a faked ‘interview’ with a young woman has recently gained attention. Trump said this while heading to West Palm Beach, reported AFP.
The US President, who was on board Air Force One replied, “I don’t know what happened.”

The 74-year-old then added, “But years ago, you know, he tried to scam me. And I was the only one who said no way. That’s a phony guy. And I don’t find him funny.”
The Republican Presidential candidate, who is seeking a second term in the White House on November 3, was taking off from Pensacola, Florida to head to West Palm Beach.
The 49 year-old Cohen, who is known for his comic portrayals, has off-late earned critical acclaim for his role in ‘The Trial of the Chicago 7’.
The US President recalled an incident from about 15 years ago, an interview from 2003, where Baron Cohen dressed as Ali G makes a business pitch to Donald Trump, the pitch being- special gloves for eating ice cream.
Trump added, “To me he was a creep.”
The plot of Borat’s new venture is under wraps, however, reports suggest that it consists of outrageous ambushes on unsuspecting participants.
In the film, an encounter of former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani in a compromising position in his bedroom has been recorded.
Giuliani on Wednesday had called the scene “a complete fabrication.”

The 76-year-old has defended himself on Twitter and has said that he was merely tucking his shirt in after removing a recording instrument.
Giuliani tweeted, “I was tucking in my shirt after taking off the recording equipment. At no time before, during, or after the interview was I ever inappropriate.”
The Trump lawyer added, “If Sacha Baron Cohen implies otherwise he is a stone-cold liar.”
