There are reports of a shooting at Pacoima fair at Glenoaks/Van Nuys, in Los Angeles.
Downtown LA Scanner, which provides crime information across the county noted, “Sounds like a shooting at a fair in Pacoima, Glenoaks/Van Nuys. Multiple injuries.”
They added that one person suffered a gunshot wound to the thigh.

An individual, who presumably lives close to the fair, tweeted “There was a shooting at the pacoima fair right outside my apartment complex a few minutes ago”.
Another individual hoped for the safety of everyone at the fair.
One Twitter user, who was presumably at the fair during the incident, posted “I was at the Pacoima Fair when the shooting was happening”, adding it was “scary because my friend grabbed my hand and told he to run”.
An individual claiming to be at the fair captured a video of people fleeing after sounds of gunfire are heard.
The individual referred to as Alexis in the video, and on their Twitter account added, “video that i caught while one the fairs wheel”. In the video, their companion can be heard asking why those on the Ferris wheel aren’t being let down, and saying that they’re “getting freaked out”.

Another individual, on Twitter, said, “Pacoima can’t have anything good happening without mfs tryna shoot foos up smh”.
A few hours back, Daniel Garcia of Pacoima was shot dead at around 1 AM, on the sidewalk in the 10300 block of Rincon Avenue. Responding officers tried performing CPR but to no avail, the Los Angeles Police Department said. At the time, authorities said that the motive for the shooting remained unknown and they didn’t have a suspect in custody. No description of the shooter was available either, with law enforcement encouraging anyone with information to come forward.
