US President Donald Trump accepted Republican nomination for president on the final day of the Republican National Convention. Ivanka Trump, president’s daughter and senior adviser, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and the president’s personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani were the keynote speakers for the last day of the convention. Trump gave his speech at the White House, in the presence of hundreds of supporters, flouting social-distancing norms. On Day 3, Mike Pence officially accepted his nomination as Vice-President candidate for a second term. “In these challenging times we need a President who believes in America. America needs four more years of Donald Trump in the White House,” Pence said.
