The Minnesota State Fair has been evacuated after reports of shots being fired. One individual posted a video of people at the fair running away from where the shots were fired.

One individual who was apparently at the fair, wrote on Twitter, “i was at the minnesota state fair when the first shots fried were yelled out. midway went nuts. my family and i ran and got out luckily. we were so scared when the fireworks went off we ran too.”

Another commented they heard “lots of police sirens in the distance”.

CrimeWatchMpIs, which brings crime news from the state, said “Fight at the Midway near the fry stand. A chemical irritant was sprayed. Several people jumped a fence into the campground.”

The news site added, “One male was seen with a possible broken leg. He was picked up by a vehicle and left the Fairgrounds.” Two suspects are reportedly in custody and there were reports of a stampede at Midway.

Oakdale officers arrived and were followed by six troopers with rifles and Washington County squads. One shell casing was recovered at Midway but there haven’t been any reports of gunshot injuries.

The suspect is reportedly a juvenile black male, 5’10”, and weighs 160 lb. He reportedly had a white tee shirt and black face mask on.

An individual who apparently made it out safe, commented, “Well, we survived the Minnesota State Fair!”

The police are still investigating the situation, but people have been cleared from the area.

An individual advocating for more guns said, “Minnesota state fair banned people from protecting themselves from the shooting that just occurred.. classic liberals. Rules work great apparently.”
