Bobby Brown Jr., son of singer Bobby Brown, was found dead in his Los Angeles home on Wednesday, reported CNN. He was 28 years old.
“Officers with the Los Angeles Police Department responded to a call for a medical emergency on Wednesday around 1:50 PM. Brown Jr. was pronounced dead at the scene. No foul play is suspected”, spokesman Jeff Lee was quoted as saying by CNN.
Nick Szatmari, agent for Brown senior, declined to comment on the death.
The Brown family has had their fair share of tragedies in a short span of time. Whitney Houston, Bobby junior’s step mother, died on February 11, 2012, after accidentally drowning in a bathtub due to drug overdose.
His half sister Bobbi Kristina Brown was found unresponsive and not breathing in the bathtub in Roswell, Georgia. She died 6 months later in July 2015. An autopsy showed that drug intoxication and immersion led to the pneumonia and brain damage that led to the 22-year-old’s death.
Her boyfriend was found liable in a civil case for her death, who himself died earlier this year due to heroin toxicity.
