Demanding justice for Jacob Blake, the Black man who was shot by police at Wisconsin, NBA player LeBron James said that the shooting is “sad and wrong.” Jacob Blake was shot in front of his three children and is critically injured. The incident has sparked widespread protests in the city.

“And y’all wonder why we say what we say about the Police! Someone, please tell me WTF is this? Exactly another black man being targeted. This shit is so wrong and so sad! Feel so sorry for him, his family and our people! We want JUSTICE,” James tweeted.

James said that the incident has affected him personally. 

He also said that Black people are scared to be in America. “Black men, Black women, Black kids, we are terrified. Because you don’t know, you have no idea.”

“You have no idea how that cop that day left the house. You don’t know if he woke up on the good side of the bed, you don’t know if he woke up on the wrong side of the bed,” he added.

The NBA star had been vocal about social injustice during the Black Lives Matter protests that rocked the country after the killing of George Floyd.

Meanwhile, in Wisconsin, Kenosha police confronted the demonstrators who were seen shouting ‘no justice, no peace.’ They also fired tear gas on the protesters on Tuesday.
