American singer and songwriter Pink hit the stage with 9-year-old daughter Willow at the Billboard Music Awards (BBMA) for a stunning acrobatic performance. The mother-daughter duo performed on their duet song ‘Cover Me In Sunshine’.
The 41-year-old singer won the prestigious ICON award at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday. But, before receiving the accolade, she gave a stunning performance, singing ‘All I Know So Far’, ‘So What’, ‘Who Knew’, ‘Just Like a Pill’ and ‘Just Give Me a Reason’.
Further, adding the cherry on the top was Pink’s daughter Willow, who performed acrobatic stunts with her mother to their duet song ‘Cover Me In Sunshine’.
In her acceptance speech, after receiving the ICON award, she said “Willow nailed it. Jameson, nailing it.” She added, “I love what I do and I love the people I get to do it with. And we’re pretty good at what we do. But it wouldn’t matter if no one came to see us and play with us, so all you guys out there and around the world, thank you for coming out. And just this is an absolute honour.”
The mother-daughter duo’s performance melted thousands of hearts. A lot of fans took to social media to praise the two.
The iconic performance on the Billboard stage took away everyone with a storm. Pink and Willow’s first song together was ‘A Million Dreams’, which released in 2017.
