Texas made national headlines on Friday evening, August 19, once again when two suspects ran into the Ingram Park Mall in San Antonio to take shelter. The two suspects in question were involved in a car chase and went into the mall to evade arrest. Deputies followed them inside the Ingram Park Mall, accompanied by SWAT teams and K-9 units, searching for the suspects store-by-store.

The Ingram Park Mall has since been closed. The authorities apprehended one of the suspects, who is a young male. Search for the other suspect continued as any individuals inside the mall, not connected with the matter, were asked to take shelter.

This is not the first time the Ingram Park Mall has made the news in recent times. A few months ago, a woman named Anna Marie Apreciado was detained by the authorities from the mall for robbing a store named Victoria’s Secret and threatening its employees to shoot.

The 44-year-old was captured on the CCTV footage inside the store and was later identified by a witness before being charged with robbery.
