Israel Fuentes Jr., 33, and Johnny Alejandro Turcios, 28, have been arrested for the murder of a toddler in Langley Park, Maryland. The Prince George’s County Police, with community assistance, identified and charged the suspects in the death of 2-year-old Jeremy Poou-Caceres.
The incident occurred when stray bullets struck Jeremy and his mother, who was wounded but survived. The investigation revealed that Fuentes and Turcios, along with others in a carjacked gold SUV, were firing at a separate group. The police are continuing their search for the remaining suspects involved in this heartbreaking case.
Norma Beltran, a 14-year resident of Langley Park, shared her profound distress over the tragic death of 2-year-old Jeremy Poou-Caceres, who, along with his mother, had lived with her temporarily. The incident, involving the child’s death and his mother’s injury from stray bullets, occurred near their home.
