The interaction revolved around an investigation into a disturbance call, with Dumas claiming he was merely walking down the street to “blow off some steam.” Authorities responded to a call alleging Dumas’ involvement in a disturbance, purportedly made by a woman who indicated her boyfriend was causing a commotion at her door. Dumas refuted the allegations, clarifying that they were no longer together.
