Lorenzo A Gamble was one of the victims of a mass shooting that occurred on Wednesday, November 23, at a Walmart in Chesapeake, Virginia. The shooter, Andre Bing, was an employee of the establishment who shot down a number of people and then proceeded to kill himself. Gamble was 43 at the time of his death.
The incident occurred in the wake of another mass shooting in Colorado Springs that left five dead.

43-year-old Lorenzo A Gamble, the son of Linda and Alonzo Gamble, was one of the victims of a mass shooting in a Walmart store in Chesapeake, Virginia that left six dead. Gamble’s Facebook page reveals that he was a New York native who had later shifted base to Chesapeake.

The other victims of the treagedy were: Brian Pendleton, Kellie Pyle, Randall Blevins, Tyneka Johnson, and a 16-year-old male whose name the authorities have not revealed owing to him being a minor.
Gamble worked as the custodian of the Chesapeake Walmart’s overnight shift. His mother, Linda, had planned to celebrate Thanksgiving with her now-deceased son, according to a report published by the Washington Post.
The report also says that Gamble’s mother had asked him to prepare a banana pudding as well as a banana pudding cake for the celebration. Linda Gamble had planned to call all of her 16 grandchildren to have Thanksgiving dinner at her residence.

Gamble was a fan of the NFL team, the Washington Commanders. He was the father of two sons, aged 19 and 10. Gamble’s eldest son, who shares his name with his father, posted on Facebook, “Friends and family please don’t call me! Don’t even wanna talk about it”.
Regarding her son’s temperament, Gamble’s mother said to the Post, “He just kept to himself and did his job,” adding, “He was the quiet one of the family”. Gamble worked at the Walmart store for 15 years before his death.
