Actress Janhvi Kapoor on Tuesday took to Instagram to share a note to her fans that she and her sister Kushi Kapoor had contracted the coronavirus on January 3 and had tested negative now.
She wrote, “Hey guys! So my sister and I tested positive for Covid-19 on the 3rd of January. We have now completed the BMC required days of home isolation and have both tested negative. The first two days were tough, and then every other day got better. The only way to protect ourselves from this virus is to mask up and vaccinate! Take care everyone!!”

Last Sunday, the actress had shared a few pictures on Instagram, in which one showed her with a thermometer in her mouth and another one with Khushi in bed. A couple of other pictures included how she had spent her time painting, reading books, and playing with her pet. She captioned them, “That time of year again.”

Her step-brother, Arjun Kapoor, step-sister Anshula Kapoor, cousin Rhea Kapoor and husband Karan Boolani had tested positive for Covid-19 last month. They join a list of other celebrities like Kareena Kapoor, Amrita Arora, Sussanne Khan, Lata Mangeshkar and John Abraham who have been infected by the virus.
Janhvi Kapoor will be seen next in Mili, backed by her father-filmmaker Boney Kapoor. , The shooting was completed last month.
The actress will also be featured with Rajkummar in Mr and Mrs Mahi, directed and co-written by Sharan Sharma along with Nikhil Mehrotra and produced by Karan Johar under the banner of Dharma Productions.
