Sharing a video of him donating plasma, “Breaking Bad” star Bryan Cranston on Friday revealed that he had contracted the COVID-19 infection. He also requested his fans to “keep wearing the damn mask.” He said that he was one of the lucky ones to have suffered “very mild symptoms” and wanted to do something to help.

Cranston said that all it takes is a little more patience. “Hi, about now you’re probably feeling a little tied down, restricting your mobility and like me, you’re tired of this! Well, I just want to encourage you to have a little more patience. I was pretty strict in adhering to the protocols and still… I contracted the virus,” he wrote.

Stating that he contracted the virus despite following the protocols, he urged everyone to follow the rules.

“I count my blessings and urge you to keep wearing the damn mask, keep washing your hands, and stay socially distant. We can prevail – but ONLY if we follow the rules together. Be well – Stay well.,” the actor said.

The US continues to battle the coronavirus outbreak with over 4.58 million confirmed cases and over 154,000 deaths.
