Google Maps showed road closures from Moscow to Lipetsk amid Wagner Group’s attack on the Russian military and Kremlin. Yevgeny Prigozhin-led mercenaries have reportedly close to entering the country’s capital on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin has allegedly fled Moscow. Videos of the Wagner Group members breaking road barriers are circulating on social media.

The Russian military also has reportedly used excavators to damage the roads.
The Russian mercenary fighters are reportedly moving toward Moscow on Saturday. The Wagner Group captured the southern city of Rostov, which is about 1100 km from the capital city.
Social media users posted videos of trucks and tanks moving rapidly toward Moscow. Putin has reportedly fled the city. Russian presidential planes were seen leaving on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Vladimir Putin issued a warning to the Wagner Group. He said that they are on a ‘path of treason’.
“It is a stab in the back of our country and our people,” he said.
“All those who prepared the rebellion will suffer inevitable punishment. The armed forces and other government agencies have received the necessary orders,” the Russian President added.
Putin’s plane left Moscow on Saturday, the Belarusian Hajun monitoring project said on Telegram, citing data from the Flightradar24 service.

The plane reportedly disappeared from radars near the Russian city of Tver, independent Russian website Important Stories (IStories) said on Telegram. They suspect that the president is going to Valdai, one of his residences.
