In London, tensions escalated as Palestinian and Israeli supporters clashed at a London Underground station, with police attempting to maintain order on a night marked by a large pro-Palestine protest outside the Israeli embassy.

Video footage depicted numerous police officers trying to separate demonstrators at High Street Kensington Tube station, where a pro-Palestine rally was taking place. Pro-Palestine protesters were seen launching fireworks, some directed toward the boarded-up Israeli embassy, as the crowded situation made it difficult for many to move freely.
Meanwhile, in a contrast of scenes, Israelis gathered outside Downing Street to hold a vigil for the victims and hostages taken by Hamas following the violent assault initiated by the terror group along the Gaza border on Saturday.
At the Kensington protest, pro-Palestine demonstrators chanted slogans like ‘Israel is a terrorist state’ and ‘Allahu akhbar.’ Stalls selling ‘Free Palestine’ merchandise were set up in the upmarket shopping district.
One attendee at the rally, Patricia Ryan, who was there with her Palestinian husband, expressed surprise at the Hamas attack and mentioned a desire for significant change in the Middle East. She emphasized that the prolonged conflict had not seen significant developments for 75 years.
The ongoing conflict in the region has resulted in a significant loss of life, with over 700 Israelis killed after Hamas launched attacks from Gaza, targeting areas in the south of the country, including a music festival, and launching rockets into the region.
British Jews have expressed solidarity with Israelis, and the Chief Rabbi has addressed the crowds, highlighting the impact of the ongoing violence on both sides of the conflict. The situation remains tense and complex, with international efforts ongoing to find a peaceful resolution to the ongoing hostilities.
