Star Wars spinoff Ahsoka’s first trailer dropped on Friday and social media users are in awe of Natasha Liu Bordizzo’s first look as Sabine Wren. The upcoming Disney+ series is a placed in the same timeframe as The Mandalorian.
Ahsoka is an adventure of popular Star Wars character Ahsoka Tano, who is Anakin Skywalker’s padawan. The trailer was released as part of London’s Star Wars Celebration on Friday.

During the Lucasfilm Studios Showcase at Star Wars Celebration 2023, the first image of Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren was shown. The picture showed the character in her Mandalorian armor, holding her helmet at her side.

Bardizzo has long purple and red hair, slightly different from Sabine’s animated look in Rebels. In a scene, her reunion with protagonist Ahsoka is shown.
Sabine says, “It’s been a while,” to which Ahsoka (played by Rosario Dawson) responds, “Things have changed.”
Fans are in awe of Natasha Liu Bordizzo’s Sabine Wren.
“Can’t believe Sabine Wren is😍real. I luv her long colorful hair, I wonder how long its been since she’s dawned her armor as well, what’s her life like on Lothal, how much has she missed Ezra &how long its been since Sabine has seen The Ghost Crew? Can’t wait,” a Twitter user said.

“Ahsoka is my most anticipated new Star Wars series this year because it’s heavily inspired by Star Wars: Rebels! Plus we finally get Hera, Sabine & Ezra Bridger in #TheMandalorian universe where they team up to take down Thrawn before he destroys & conquerors the entire galaxy!” another one added.
Ahsoka, as a character, was introduced in 2008 in Star Wars: The Clone Wars. It served as a pilot to the series.
During the 2022 Star Wars Celebration, Dawson told Variety: “Embodying a character, literally, physically, every single day, has brought on a whole other level of experience to working on a project, and bringing a character to life. It’s changing me.”
