Teira Strand, a woman who went missing after being seen on camera being attacked outside a pub, has been discovered dead in a ditch. A bystander in Bell County spotted Strand’s body on Friday while traveling down the road. According to FOX 7, the heartbreaking discovery was found around 70 miles outside Austin.

Who was Tiera Strand?

Tiera Strand was a missing Texas mother whose body was found in a rural area just north of Temple on Friday morning. Strand was just 25 years old at the time of her death.

Strand was planning to graduate in May while pursuing a high school diploma through a continuing education program. She was also thinking about enlisting in the US Navy.

Strand’s six-year-old daughter is currently living with her grandfather and does not know of her mother’s death. “She calls her phone all the time asking for her. That’s the hardest part,” Strand’s sister Mariah Herron said.

Around two in the morning on April 16, Strand was seen on camera being attacked by many women at the Mooseknuckle Pub on 6th Street, according to her family members who saw a mobile video of the attack. Since this tragedy, the young mother had disappeared.

Tiera Strand’s body was discovered on Friday morning, April 20, five days after she was reported missing. According to a news release from the Bell County Sheriff’s Office, it was reported that authorities stated the cause of her death would be confirmed following an autopsy. However, Strand’s father claimed he has been told by authorities that foul play may have been involved in Tiera’s death.

One of Strand’s cousins, Tamara Yarbrough-Kelly, swore that her family would not stop looking for the culprits until they were brought to light. The family is now gathering funds to employ a private investigator for an inquiry about what exactly happened.
