Alisa Bajraktarevic, a police officer from the Bronx, New York, is under investigation after allegedly trying to prevent the narcotic detectives from nabbing her drug dealer boyfriend.
Police were trying to pull over her boyfriend when she was with her, and she used her status as a police officer status to try to get away from them. She allegedly caused a scene after the responding officers refused to let the duo get away.

Who is Alisa Bajraktarevic?
Alisa Bajraktarevic is a 33-year-old New York City police officer. She allegedly met the drug dealer boyfriend at a gym and they kicked up a romance, per the The New York Post.
According to The Daily Mail, Bajraktarevic had previously warned her colleagues to stay away from her boyfriend, even after it was revealed that narcotic investigations were watching him. The report says that since the incident, Bajraktarevic has had her gun confiscated and has been assigned desk duty.

Speaking to the same outlet, a source who witnessed the incident said that when Bajraktarevic and her boyfriend was pulled over, the police had intention to search the car. They believed that the man was ‘major player’ in drug trafficking case and wanted to arrest him.
The source said that Bajraktarevic lunged out of the car and tried everything to get herself and her boyfriend out of the situation.
“They didn’t know who she was until she stepped up and said who she was,” the source said. “She definitely gave them a hard time” said another source.

The report, however, said that that the man was eventually allowed to go but it was not revealed why. His name was also not revealed.
Bajraktarevic’s relationship with the drug dealer had been known by the department for about a year, since she tried to interfere with a search at his Manhattan home.
