Singer-songwriter Coco Lee from Hong Kong passed away on Wednesday after attempting suicide the previous weekend, according to posts made by her sisters on social media.
The celebrity, who had been diagnosed with depression a few years ago, had attempted suicide at home on Sunday, according to a Facebook post by Lee’s sisters Carol and Nancy. Since that time, Lee, 48, had reportedly been unconscious.

Her family expressed their appreciation for the help received from the medical team and fans.
They also expressed gratitude to the medical staff for trying to save her life.
The sisters requested everyone’s prayers and some time to heal, stating that taking care of their elderly mother was now their top priority.
