NFL side Green Bay Packers Quarterback Aaron Rodgers was
named Associated Press Most Valuable Player (MVP) for 2020, marking his third
time winning the award.
Rodgers won the award by a long, 44 vote-difference, defeating
Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen who came a distant second, getting a mere
four votes.

Rodgers completed over 70% of his passes for 4,299 yards and
a 48-5 touchdown-to-interception ratio.
A significant improvement being visibly apparent since his
first year in the league when he threw 26 Touchdown passes under Packers head
coach Matt Lafleur, Rodgers almost doubled the number in 2020.
Rodgers finished the season with a rating of 121.5.
Largely based off this hugely impactful performance, the Green Bay Packers finished with a 13-3 record. The team secured the top seed in NFC, which would led the team into a Super Bowl berth and into Roger’s second, but with a loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, that still remains to be turned into a reality.

Less than a year after the Packers drafting his potential successor in the team, Rodgers still remains the league’s most valuable player, arguably while putting all discussions of his retirement to rest.
