Bollywood veteran Neetu Kapoor has recently revealed that she used to be late husband Rishi Kapoor’s “wing-woman” before the two started dating.

Appearing in the latest episode of the reality television show ‘Indian Idol 12’, which was specially dedicated to her and Rishi, the 62-year-old actor said, “I was Rishi’s wing-woman and always helping him in impressing girls until we started dating. Rishi found me very cute and sweet and we used to call each other Bob.”

Recalling the day the couple realised they were attracted to each other, Neetu added, “He was in Paris whereas I was in Kashmir, shooting, and suddenly I got a telegram from Rishi saying he misses me and loves me.”

Rishi died at the age of 67 in April last year after battling cancer for two years.

On the show, a video montage featuring Neetu’s friends and families was also played that brought her back the memories she has made over the years. Neetu and Rishi’s children, Ranbir Kapoor and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, also sent video messages to cheer up their mother.
