Singer Ankit Tiwari, who has sung a beautiful track in
soon-to-release film “Sadak 2” titled “Tumse Hi”, is disappointed with the way
people are trolling the movie and demanding the ban. “My song has just released
and I am getting comments from haters more than the lovers,” he says when asked
if he is happy with the response that his track is receiving after the release
.

He also says that people feel that the track is a copy of
a famous International song. “You put so much energy in creating and making this
film and you ensure that no one is disappointed with the final result of it and
then you come across such comments,” he told Opoyi.

“The problem is that I can’t shout at the top of my voice
to say that it’s an original track so I just got disheartened and
tweeted about it. My message to the people who are coming up with such comments
is that show me the link from where it is copied and till that time , you don’t
have proof of that please don’t come to such a conclusion. I was not the only
one who has worked hard on this  track, there are other people involved too,”
Tiwari told Opoyi.

The film that is set to release digitally on September 28
is facing negative feedback over the issue of nepotism. Infact, actress Alia
Bhatt was also the target of netizens on social media.

Ankit says that he keeps getting
screenshots from his friends on comments that says that “he chose the right
song but in a wrong film.”

“They says that the song is very nice but has been used
in wrong movie. I want to ask them that how can this film be wrong? I
believe that I am an outsider and if this picture is wrong for me than ‘Su Raha
Hai Na Tu’ from ‘Aashiqui 2 and ‘Teri Gaaliyan’ from ‘Ek Villain’ is also wrong . In short, the biggest hits of
my life are wrong. People started recognising me from Vishesh films banner and
through films that came from Mahesh Bhatt,” he said.

“When I was finding my footing in the industry, it
was him who gave me break and I will be thankful to him forever,” said Tiwari who also did music for “Do Dooni Chaar” and “Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster”.

He also points out that it is important to understand
that a film is not about just one person.

“There are several other people involved. There are
technicians, engineers, light boys. We must understand that they get work only
after proving themselves so let’s think about them. There is a credit list in
the movie and we don’t  even read that so it’s unfair to blame  the
industry,” he said.

Talking about the whole nepotism debate, he says
that let’s not forget that it’s the audience who makes a star.

“Yes. It’s correct to say that having a godfather makes
your way easy in the industry but it is the audience after all who makes or
breaks a star. There are few stars who are outsiders but still getting
love  from the audience and vice versa so it’s important to have some kind
of kindness towards all,” he said.
