The team of ‘Radhe Shyam’ that stars Prabhas and Pooja Hegde in the lead roles has unveiled a brand new poster on the occasion of Janmashtami. The film is set to release on January14, 2022.

“As we celebrate Janmashtami, let Vikramaditya and Prerna teach you a new meaning of love,” the production house tweeted along with the poster.

‘Radhe Shyam’ is directed by Radha Krishna Kumar. Vamsi, Pramod, and Praseedha are the producers. The South Indian versions of the film will have Justine Prabhakaran’s music.

The brand new poster confirms that the film will not move from Sankranthi 2022 slot. Earlier the makers had announced that the movie would release on July 30 this year.

Previously, Prabhas’ too confirmed the movie’s theatrical release.

Prabhas wrote: “Can’t wait for you all to watch my romantic saga, #RadheShyam, which has a brand-new release date – 14th January, 2022 worldwide! (sic).”

Mahesh Babu’s Sarkaru Vaari Paata and Pawan Kalyan-Rana Daggubati movie are also scheduled to be released in the Sankranthi season-2022.

‘Radhe Shyam’ is one of the biggest Pan-Indian movies in production in India now. Touted to be a romantic drama, the film features Prabhas and Pooja Hegde as Vikramaditya and Prerana as the star-crossed lovers in Europe.It is set in the 1970s.

The period drama boasts top-class production design and extraordinary visual effects.

Recently, singer-composer Amaal Mallik joined the team too.  This project marks Amaal’s first collaboration with both Prabhas and Pooja Hegde.

“I am so thrilled that I am part of a Prabhas sir movie, it’s going to be exciting to compose for Radhe Shyam. The all important thing is ‘Radhe Shyam’ is slated to hit theatres on Makar Sankranti, January 14, 2022, worldwide,” he said.

The other actors in the movie are Sachin Khedekar, Priyadarshi Pulikonda, Bhagyashree, Murli Sharma, Kunaal Roy Kapoor, Riddhi Kumar, Sasha Chettri and Sathyan.
