Actors Genelia D’Souza and Riteish Deshmukh celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary today. With this, the couple completes nearly 20 years of being together and a decade of marriage.
Sharing a heartwarming video montage on Instagram, Genelia wrote for her husband, “10 years is definitely a milestone and knowing me, today would be just the two of us leaving town, celebrating, dancing, dining and endless hugs. But with tight schedules and work taking the better of us, I realise, what is the true meaning of celebrating-You directing for the first time and I get to be part of it, me acting after 10 years and you are part of it and together we put our sweat and blood and life into something we chose together and if this isn’t a celebration then what else is? We’ve been partners in love, partnering parents, business partners and Thank God for #Vedd where we get to be partners who help each other, build dreams and try and fulfil it together. I will celebrate you everyday and ya the endless hugs will still stay on – you definitely can’t escape that part. Happy Anniversary!”

On the other hand, Riteish posted beautiful pictures of both of them at the beach, walking hand in hand. He wrote, “Being with you is the greatest blessing of my life. Sharing laughter, tears, joy, struggles, fears, happiness, we have walked these miles holding each other’s hands, a step at a time. With you by my side I feel I could do anything. Thank you for being you. Happy 10th Anniversary Baiko. I love you @geneliad.”

The two met on the sets of Tujhe Meri Kasam in 2002, when Riteish was 24 and Genelia was 16. After nine years of dating, the couple tied the knot in 2012 on February 3. They have two sons together, Rahyl Deshmukh and Riaan Deshmukh.
They often post hilarious reels and videos of each other on social media.
On Genelia’s 34th birthday last year, Riteish had posted a video with the caption, “Gods must love me. There is no greater feeling than waking up every morning and seeing your face. Inching towards 20 years of being together and feels like it was yesterday.. thank you for being the wonderful partner that you are- happy birthday baiko!!! You are looking younger by the day can’t say the same about me soon people will say (who’s this uncle with Genelia) #happybirthdaygenelia (sic).”
