‘Saturday Night Live‘ star Kenan Thompson and his wife Christina Evangeline have called it quits after 11 years of marriage and are planning to file for divorce soon, TMZ reported, quoting sources.
The duo have been separated for over a year but have been focusing on co-parenting their two daughters, seven-year-old Georgia and three-year-old Gianna, sources told the outlet.
While Thompson has been spending most of his time in Los Angeles working on his show, his wife has remained in New York.

The couple met when Evangeline was 19. They dated for four years before tying the knot in November 2011 in the Arctic Room of the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta.
“[They’re] very happy. They’ve lived together as a couple and were excited to share the moments with close friends. She was thrilled and a beautiful bride,” a source had told US Weekly at the time.
“Being in the rented out aquarium made the night even more magical. Christina loved the dolphins.”
