The annual
Emmy Awards returns on Sunday with its 73rd edition to honour the
best of the television world with a first in-person ceremony since the
coronavirus pandemic began. This year’s awards will be hosted by veteran
stand-up comedian Cedric the Entertainer, who also stars on the CBS show ‘The
Neighbourhood’.

Disney’s Star
Wars
show ‘The Mandalorian’ and Netflix series ‘The Queen’s Gambit’ lead the
nominations with 24 each, while HBO leads the networks with nominees in 130
categories. A number of awards have already been announced earlier this week.
