In Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s upcoming movie, Brahmāstra, Chiranjeevi has agreed to be the Telegu voice. This news came just before the release of the trailer which is set to be released on 15th June. Brahmāstra will be released on 9th September with a cast consisting of Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna Akkineni. The movie is set to be released in five languages, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
Chiranjeevi has a massive fan following with more than 150 movies under his belt this new addition by Karan Johar has been creating a lot of buzz on the internet.

Karan Johar shared a video on his Instagram handle welcoming Chiranjeevi to their team. In the video, Chiranjeevi can be seen dubbing for the movie. The video also contains some shots from the movie. Later, in the movie, Ayan Mukerji is seen touching Chiranjeevi’s feet to show his gratitude for being part of Brahmāstra.
Along with the video Karan Johar also shared a heartfelt caption, “Welcome to Team Brahmāstra, Chiranjeevi Sir! So grateful and honoured to have you lend your voice to the Telugu version of the film. Making this family only stronger with your boundless talent and grandeur!”
Ayan Mukerji also shared the same teaser along with a photo of Chiranjeevi and Ranbir Kapoor with a very moving note.
