Keep them dry

It is hard to keep your feet dry in the monsoon as the floor turns wet due to moisture present in the air. However, wet feet can lead to a number of fungal infections. Thus, make sure that you keep your food clean by washing them frequently, pat them dry good and apply talcum powder if necessary.

Hot water soak

Keep your feet soaked in warm water for a while. Mix some salt, lemon, or a mild cleanser in the water. This treatment will kill all the bacteria present in the feet and will also deeply cleanse them. Try to exfoliate dry skin collected atop the heels and on the feet. This will also give you the benefits of home pedicure.

Keep your toe nails short

Our toenails become weaker and vulnerable in the monsoon due to moisture and thus can injure you seriously if get broken or thrashed. It will also prevent bacterias and fungus from collecting under your nails.

Right footwear

Ditch your high heels and sneakers for flip flops and sandals. In such footwear, the water gets washed out easily, evaporating quickly and making your feet dry. Similarly, for safety purposes too, it is important that you pick footwear with a better grip that prevents you from falling or slipping on the floor.
