evening when dinner time is a bit far and lunch has settled in. But the ongoing
pandemic has left us unsure about ordering in our favourite snacks.
It doesn’t
mean that you cannot have all the delicious food that you get in a restaurant –
yes, you read that right!

Bread pizza
Pizza is
always welcome. Isn’t it? Let’s take a look at the recipe for Tomato Basil
Toast shared by nutrition consultant Shivika Gandhi on her Instagram page,
Nutritional Edge.
Ingredients
Multigrain
bread 1
Pizza
pasta sauce 1 tablespoon
Mozzarella
cheese
Tomato 1
Basil
leaves 3-4
Oregano/Italian
seasoning
Method
· Spread pasta pizza sauce on the
bread.
· Keep cheese slice on it.
· Top your bread with sliced tomatoes
and basil.
· Grill the toast for 2-3 minutes.
· Once grilled, sprinkle some Italian
herb seasoning or oregano on the toast.
Carrot cake
Ingredients
Flour 4
tablespoons
Sugar 2
tablespoons
Baking
powder 1/8 teaspoon
Cinnamon
powder ¼ teaspoon
A pinch of
nutmeg powder
A pinch of
salt
Refined oil
1 tablespoon
Milk 2
tablespoons
Grated
carrots 2 tablespoons
Chopped
walnuts 1 tablespoon
Cream cheese
1 tablespoon
Honey 1
tablespoon

Method
· Use a microwave-safe mug and add all
the dry ingredients —flour, cinnamon powder, nutmeg powder, baking powder along
with salt
· Mix them properly and add refined oil
along with milk and mix.
· Add the star ingredient —grated
carrot.
· For a nutty flavour, add walnuts. Mix
to combine everything and then place the mug in a microwave for 1 minute.
· Now, add cream cheese and honey to
it. Spread it on the cake.
Corn paneer samosa
Try this
recipe straight out from Chef Sanjeev Kapoor’s kitchen.
Ingredients
Sweet corn,
boiled ½ cup
Grated
paneer ½ cup
Small
onion, finely chopped 1
Green
chilies, finely chopped 2
Small
capsicum, finely chopped 1
Chopped
coriander 2 tablespoons
Salt
to taste
Grated
processed cheese ½ cup
Red
chili flakes 2 tablespoons
Refined flour
slurry
Samosa
patti
Oil
for deep frying
Method
· In a bowl, mix all the ingredients.
Then add salt and red chili flakes and mix.
· Fill samosa patti with the mixture
stick the edges with the slurry.
· Deep fry in oil.
