With enhanced efforts being put in by the government, United States has successfully administered both doses of the COVID-19 vaccines in almost 1 in 6 people in the country, according to data released by the Centres for Disease Control and Prevention.
About 195,581,725 doses of the COVID-19 vaccines have been delivered to authorities for distribution across the US by pharmaceutical giants like Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson. Around 150,273,292 of those doses have already been administered in the country, reported CNN.

According to the data released by the CDC, the United States administered around 2.7 million on Tuesday due to which the weekly average received another significant push and touched the record number of using 2.8 million doses every day.
Around 55 million have been given both required doses while nearly 97 million have been given the first dose, reported CNN.

US President Joe Biden, who has often reiterated that his administration will be prioritising the containment of the outbreak and will make efforts to provide a durable solution along with swift recovery.
