Actor Chadwick Boseman, best known for playing ‘King T’Challa’ in the film ‘Black Panther’, died at the age of 43 after battling colon cancer for four years. He took his last breath at his home on Friday in Los Angeles, with his wife and family by his side.
Boseman’s co-stars and admirers started pouring in tributes and expressed their grief taking to social media. In a heartfelt post, Tom Holland, Chadwick’s Black Panther co-star, posted a picture of Chadwick on Instagram describing him as a ‘role model’ and ‘even more of a hero off-screen’
“Chadwick, you were even more of a hero off screen than on. A role model not only to me on set, but to millions of others around the world. You brought joy and happiness to so many and I’m proud to have been able to call you a friend. RIP Chadwick,” Holland’s post said.
Chadwick Boseman’s Marvel co-star Mark Ruffalo took to Twitter to pay his tribute, calling him a man of immense talent.
Actor Chris Pratt expressed his grief on Twitter sending heartfelt condolences to Boseman’s family and loved ones.
Other prominent personalities, including basketball star LeBron James, presidential and vice-presidential candidates Joe Biden and Kamala Harris too expressed their emotions for the talented actor.
