‘Resident Evil’ is an action horror film series based on Japanese horror video games. It consists of survival horror, with characters surviving in environments filled with zombies and other creatures.‘Resident Evil’ and its sequels tend to borrow a gallery of horrific creations. The movies showcase some of the scariest creatures.

1. Lickers
Lickers happen to be one of the scariest monster designs of ‘Resident Evil’. They have the ability to move fast, climb walls and trip people using their far-reaching tongues. They also have the ability to rapidly mutate through human flesh. It becomes stronger and faster with enhanced muscle. Lickers get their name from their distinguished long tongue, used as a weapon. Alice and the commandos release one of the Lickers during a zombie ambush. They are unaware of their mistake until the end of the movie.
Licker’s weak point is the lack of sight for which they are taken advantage of by Leon and Clarie.

2. Executioners
The Executioner is the axe-wielding monster we encounter in ‘Resident Evil: Afterlife’. They happen to be created as a bioweapon and are hard kind of zombies. They are known to possess towering physiques, much taller and stronger than regular undead. The character is inspired by Pyramid Head from the ‘Silent Hill’ series. An Executioner attacks the Prison in ‘Afterlife’. The Executioner is very weak in the company of nemesis and is very slow while nemesis moves at his top speed.
3. Cerberus
The monster was accidentally created in ‘Resident Evil’ during the T-virus outbreak in The Hive. The security guard dogs were exposed to the T-Virus and underwent rapid mutations, causing the fur and skin to fall off. The zombie dogs have the power to split their heads vertically unveiling a gruesome maw filled with fangs and tendrils. Their vulnerable state while leaping in the air to attack is what makes them weak.

4. Nosferatu
Nosferatu is another ‘Resident Evil’ monster with a deep and disturbing story. He is a boss monster which appears in ‘Resident Evil code: Veronica’. He has the ability to expel a deadly poisonous gas that can only be cured with a special serum. Despite the lack of sight, he is very quick. He possesses a large tentacle-like appendage that sprouts from his back, which he uses to attack. Nosferatu’s weak point is his heart, which is exposed on his chest.
5. Regeneradors
The monster is seen in ‘Resident Evil 4’ with the ability to regrow limbs after shooting. The advanced version of Regenerador comes forth as Iron Maiden. They can even lose their head and grow back. The leech-like Las Plagas cells scattered all over its body are their weakness—attaching them makes the Regerador die faster.
