The Percy Jackson franchise stands as one of the most cherished book series in literary history. Rick Riordan, the author, introduced an entire generation to the world of Greek mythology through this five-part series, while also exploring various other mythologies in his additional works.

Although the first and second books in the series received film adaptations in 2010 and 2013, these movies were met with less-than-enthusiastic reviews from both fans and critics alike. However, the excitement among Percy Jackson fans skyrocketed when it was announced that Disney would be producing a TV series based on the books. Since then, fans have been eagerly awaiting the release of this upcoming show.
