As a new season of Koffee with Karan premiers today on Disney+ Hotstar, let’s revisit some of the funniest episodes the talk show has aired. The previous seasons provided some hilarious moments with celebrities being caught off-guard or generating humour by being candid about their personal lives.

1. Siddharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan

The Student of the Year cast appeared on the couch and during the rapid-fire round Alia Bhatt fumbled on the question about who the then President of India was. She said “Prithviraj Chauhan” instead of Pranab Mukherjee. The question-answer round turned out to be a very funny one, and Alia Bhatt was trolled for lack of awareness.

2. Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna 

Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna’s episodes happen to be one of the most comical ones. The episode about how their relationship started as a fling to mentioning how she nearly got arrested for unbuttoning her husband’s jeans is a must-watch. 

3. Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh 

The duo’s banter is what makes the episode a standout. From discussing love, porn and loneliness to dancing on Chikni Chameli, the episode made Ranveer spit his coffee while giggling. 

4. Akshay Kumar and Ranveer Singh 

The episode saw Ranveer Singh enacting Akshay Kumar, “Shadi hai, main naach Raha hu. Birthday hai, main naach raha hu.” Impromptu acting by the actors and the rapid-fire round made the episode amusing. 

5. Salman Khan 

It was a moment to behold when Salman Khan publicly announced that he was a virgin. When Karan Johar asked him if he has held hands with girls, he responded that he has never had a girlfriend and that there were only friendships with no benefits taking the title of “Bhai” quite literally. 

6. Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma

The actresses got the episode going as they gelled well with their perceived anti-social skills as the common ground. The episode also saw the cameo of Arjun Kapoor and the revelation of “I hate Katrina club”.
