Bollywood actors Sara Ali Khan, 26, and Janhvi Kapoor, 25, appeared on episode 2 of Koffee with Karan 7 on Thursday. During the episode, it was revealed that the actors once dated two brothers. 

“I am tracking back to before the pandemic. I don’t know the level of your friendship today, but I don’t remember there being any. I remember that you both have dated siblings before,” host Karan Johar said, taking the actors by surprise. 

“I mean it was the past. You both dated two brothers. And the commonality between the three of us is that they both used to live in my building,” he added.

According to reports, the girls once dated the Pahariya brothers who belong to a wealthy, political family. Their maternal grandpa is former Union Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde.

Their father, Sanjay Pahariya, is a businessman with a base in Mumbai. Their mother is Shinde’s daughter, Smruti Pahariya, who divorced Sanjay in 2008.

The two brothers spent much of their childhood in Delhi since Smruti moved there to live with her father after the divorce from her husband.

After finishing high school, Veer, 28 moved to Dubai to finish his education. He has a strong passion for music and hopes to become a singer. He began his career by working for Viacom 18 in India, a joint venture between Viacom and TV18. He began his musical career by creating music for commercials, and he has since created some music for both films and web series. Resul Pookutty, a sound engineer who has won an Academy Award, has also collaborated with him. When Saif Ali Khan’s daughter uploaded a photo to Instagram and tagged Veer as her boyfriend, he gained attention.

On the other hand, Shikhar, 23, attended the Dhirubai Ambani International School and the Bombay Scottish School for his education. After that, he travelled abroad to finish his studies at Regent University, London. Shikhar is reportedly an accomplished horse rider. He also likes to play polo. Shikhar was an interesting member of the Royal Jaipur Polo team that represented India at Berkshire Polo Club London in 2013.

He founded his consultancy at the age of 13, offering advice to prospective pet owners. Following graduation, he began employment as an investment analyst with London-based Wadhawan Global Capital, a multinational conglomerate holding firm. Then, in India, he was employed by Andromeda Financial Technology Services. Both of the brothers started India Wyn, a gaming and entertainment business, in 2018.
