‘Street Outlaws: Fastest in America’ cast member Ryan Fellows died in a car accident on Sunday at the age of 41.
The official Twitter account for the Discovery series confirmed the news.
“The Street Outlaws family is heartbroken by the accident that led to the tragic death of Ryan Fellows. We extend our deepest sympathy to Ryan’s loved ones as they process this sudden and devastating loss,” the tweet said.

Fellows, who is a street racer, died while filming for the series in Las Vegas on Sunday, TMZ reported.
During one of the races that was scheduled for the show, the 41-year-old’s gold Nissan 240z lost control near the finish line. The car then rolled over and caught on fire. He couldn’t be pulled out from the vehicle in time and he died.

Last year, Fellows was involved in a near crash that nearly killed him. In one of the videos from the show, he said his 2016 Lamborghini Huracan “almost crashed” but luckily he “got it under control, and everyone was safe.”
Meanwhile, a GoFundMe page has been set up for Fellows’ family. According to the page, Fellows was “an avid car enthusiast and was a road “warrior” in many ways that extended to loves of basketball, cars and business in sales/advertising. He was admired for tenacity and a relentless drive to overcome the challenges before him.”
He leaves behind his wife Liz and two children – Josiah (18) and Olivia (10).
“The only thing he loved more than these efforts and achievements were his family-his wife Liz , children Josiah (18) and Olivia (10). The family will need help with the next steps of grief and living life after losing the heart and soul of their beautiful family,” the page stated.
