One person died in a shooting at Denver’s Villa Park neighbourhood Saturday. Denver Police responded to reports of a shooting near the intersection of West 10th Avenue and North Sheridan Boulevard.
Police said two men were injured in the shooting and took themselves to the hospital. One of the two men injured has since died. The identity of the victim is yet to be revealed.
Denver Police is yet to name suspects at this point.
Meanwhile, three shootings were reported in Lexington, Kentucky on Saturday. One of the shootings took place near the Lexington Legends stadium in which seven people were shot. Those shot were hospitalised with non-life threatening injuries, according to police.
Police responding to the scene initially found two women lying injured. They took the two to the hospital. Five others who had been shot at in the incident had taken themselves to hospitals.

Dave Cooper, a Lexington resident told a local media network that he is concerned about the violence and late night activities at the stadium. “What’s the security? Why are people still on the property? I don’t feel safe, he said.
“There’s apartment buildings right next to the baseball stadium. They have to realise this is a neighbourhood,” Cooper added.
At around 2:30 am on Saturday morning, Lexington found a woman with a gunshot would at Oak Street and took her to a hospital, according to a Lexington Herald Leader report.

Another woman was shot at 1100 block of Briarwood Circle at 06:12 am. Police later took her to the hospital.
Moreover, a shooting took place at Fort Wayne, Indiana on Friday night after an argument between a man and a woman escalated, police said. Shots were fired following at concert at Mitchell’s Sports & Neighbourhood Grill on West Jefferson Boulevard, a local radio station reported.
