India succumbed to their largest-ever defeat at home, as South Africa beat them by 49 runs in the 3rd T20I. India missed many run-out chances, including one in the first ball itself when opener Quinton De Kock could have been out. He was well beyond the crease when he played the ball to mid-off and sprinted off for a single, but Shreyas Iyer missed a direct hit. Mohammad Siraj also dropped a sitter, when Rossouw was just at 24 runs.
