Queen Consort Camilla Parker Bowles was reportedly left ‘hurt and very upset’ by the way King Charles was treated by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, a royal expert claimed.
Angela Levin, an award-winning journalist and royal biographer spoke with Sky News and claimed that Queen Consort Camilla was upset and felt sorry for the King after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex made remarks about him and Prince William being trapped in the royal family.
“I think she’s very cautious. She doesn’t try to push herself towards them. She gets very upset when they hurt King Charles. She was very sorry for him.” Ms Levin said, adding, “But she understands how parents can love their children but absolutely dislike what they’re doing.”

The reactions of the Queen Consort were with respect to the 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey in which Harry and Meghan made several claims and accusations about the Royal family.
In the interview, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle spoke about quitting their royal titles. “I am part of the system with them, I always have been, but I guess – and I’m very aware of this – my brother can’t leave the system, but I have. My father and my brother, they are trapped. They don’t get to leave. And I have huge compassion for that,” the Duke said in the interview.
While reports following the interview claimed that Prince William found Harry’s claims way off the mark and that he respected his duty and service, no revelations were made of King (Prince at the time) Charles or his wife’s thoughts on the claim.
